EYEBROWS/LASHES
EYEBROWS-pencil/shadow first half of the
brow underneath up to mid-point, second half fill on the top, then blend
together , this creates the illusion that the brow is thicker and makes it look
more natural. with a cotton bud, smudge around the brow to get rid of any harsh
lines, use translucent powder and puff
press upward to blend into the face more. ensure you start eyebrows in line
with finger next to nose to inner eye, the arch is just past the pupil and ends
no further than a finger resting from nose to outer eye corner.
EYELASHES-curl lashes in three areas of
lash, root, mid and end to create long perfect curl before applying to allow
lashes to be more natural open and is
easier to apply mascara. Mascara is easier to use when a little older and dryer
as there is more control. Start on the outside of the eye zigzagging the
mascara wand both on top and underneath the lash to fully coat the lashes, as
you move in start to use the point of the wand to get into the inner eye
lashes. Applying mascara to the top lashes only creates a cat eye effect,
bottom only creates a dolly effect and both lashes creates the eye to look
rounder.
FALSE LASHES-individual lashes make a
more natural finish, although they take time and can be fiddly applying each
one carefully and symmetrically to opposite eye. On a full set, cut to
appropriate size feather the ends with scissors to get rid of blunt edge to be
more natural, apply a thin line of eyeliner on lid as a base (and afterwards
too to finish to hid gap between lash line and fake lash) apply glue to the
lashes, wait for glue to go tacky and not be freshly wet, apply a thin coat of
mascara to real lashes and then with a FLAT ended tweezer and small brush to
press down apply lash, middle fist, then outer edge then inner. Finally apply a
final coat of mascara if needed to blend both sets of lashes more.
