ADVANCED PLAITING

STANDARD- three strands, starts away from the head alternating crossing over outer sections over the middle section.
FRENCH-starts with three small strands on the top of the head, crossing over outer strands over middle, but each time adding a new piece of hair until you get to the bottom of the head where there are is no more hair to add and it turns into a normal plait to complete, unless you wish it to stay in a ponytail.
DUTCH- starts with three small strands on the top of head, this time, like the French plaint you are crossing the outer and middle strands but this time UNDER NEATH each other, still each time adding a new piece of hair until you get to the bottom of the head where there are is no more hair to add and it turns into a normal plait to complete, unless you wish it to stay in a ponytail.
WATERFALL- similar to French/Dutch depending on how you want the plait to look, each time you add a piece of hair from either left/right depending on the side of the head, drop a piece of hair out of the plait to look as though there is a constant flow of hair entering and exiting the plait.
FISHTAIL- two strands, starts away from the head, taking smaller sections from opposite sides to cross over until no hair is left.

ROPE- two strands, starts away from the head, twisting both strands the same way, individually, once twisted, twist them together in the opposite way creating a rope effect.
